Experience the syilx Spotlight at the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Join Alana, our Indigenous Programming Intern, on Sunday afternoons for a fascinating, hands-on look at syilx (Okanagan) culture and traditions.
Get an up-close look at objects from our collection and take part in a hands-on activity or experience!
Suitable for all ages.
Using natural resources available from this land, the syilx people thrived for thousands of years using incredible technology, often focused on tools made from stone and animal bones. This is a family-friendly, hands-on experience so come explore and learn with us!
