Event:

Creative Digital Compositing

Date:

Thu, Apr 28th, 2022 to Thu, Jun 2nd, 2022

Time:

6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Description:

In this workshop, you will learn how to create artistic, hyper-realistic photocompositions in Photoshop from scratch, combining different images and concepts. Streamline your workflow and learn basic composition, light, and color techniques so you can transform your imagination into a digital work of art.

Discover how to use Photoshop as a means of expressing your ideas. Learn how to convey emotion and meaning through photomontage techniques.

Each week, we will work on a project with the aim of refining our new skills through practical application and experimentation. The aim is to use digital compositing as a way of recognizing and supporting your own creative process.

A basic knowledge of Photoshop is recommended but not necessary. All the techniques you’ll learn are perfectly applicable to any photo-editing software. Students will be required to supply their own laptops/devices.

Suitable for ages 15 and up.
