Description:
Join us for after school class where you will learn how to create your own unique piece of art using batik. Batik uses melted wax and various steps of dying to create a one-of-a-kind image with a surprising crackle effect.
We will be learning elements of design, planning, and problem solving as we navigate together in the creation of your fabric art. Come make a t-shirt, tote bag, or a wall hanging with us.
The series will run for six (6) weeks, every Friday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm:
April 16 - May 21, 2021
Cost: $125 + GST (materials included)
Venue: Harmony Honda Painting and Drawing Studio
Pre-registration is highly recommended as spots are limited due to social distancing. Please note that masks are required while inside the RCA building.
