Summerhill Winery, in Kelowna BC, will be celebrating the 2010 Opening Ceremonies and Canada's quest for gold by projecting the event onto the side of our big white Pyramid and inviting the community for a good old fashion block party!
The event will be a fund raiser for the Kelowna Professional Firefighters Charitable Society. This charitable society has given over $200,000 in the past few years to causes in our community such as MS, breast cancer, The United Way, Kelowna General Hospital and much more.
The outdoor event will feature a showcase of BC's finest organic wines, local and organic food produced by award winning chef Jesse Croy, music and projection by Rob from Remix Industries, and a visit from the Kelowna Professional Fire Fighters.
