Once the centre of the Okanagan Fruit Packing Industry, Downtown Kelowna’s Cultural District is now home to artists, performers and beautiful works of public art. Take a journey through time and discover the Cultural District in a new light with a guided walking tour this summer.
Following a two kilometre route that begins and ends at the Laurel Packinghouse, explore the rich history of the area, hear stories of the past and present, and explore cultural facilities and parks including Kasugai Gardens, the Okanagan Heritage Museum, and the Kelowna Art Gallery. Even long-time residents will experience new discoveries with guides who are great storytellers, connecting the past with the present.

Registration is not required and all tours are free. Tours take approximately two hours and start and end at the Laurel Packinghouse (Ellis St & Cawston Ave). Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
