Join us for our September Family History Forum, hosted by the Kelowna & District Genealogical Society in partnership with the Okanagan Regional Library. These programs are free to all who are interested in genealogical research and are presented virtually by Zoom.
Location, Location, Location: Discovering Your Ancestor’s Hometown, Claire Smith-Burns, presenter. In Genealogical Research, it is very important to have a solid understanding of your ancestor’s places of residence in order to formulate research strategies and put your ancestor’s life in context. We will discuss several ideas for collecting & interpreting locational information, including some wonderful websites.
