(Kelowna, BC) On January 30, 2020, Pushor Mitchell LLP & Third Space Life Charity are proud to host This is What Hope Looks Like with Santa J. Ono, 15th President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of British Columbia. The event will take place from 6pm to 9pm at Willowstone Academy, 4091 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna BC.
Tickets are $65 available at https://www.thisiswhathopelookslike.eventbrite.ca/ Tickets include one drink ticket, grazing appetizers and presentation by Santa Ono.
Professor Ono will share on the current mental health epidemic in our youth and his own personal journey through depression and bi-polar disorder. “Suicide is a real risk for university-age youth and we need them to know they are not alone," says Ono.
This event is a fundraiser for Third Space’s Student Care Program, which provides clinical counselling to UBCO students on campus. In 2018/2019, Third Space provided counselling to over 1,500 students. All funds raised will go toward providing additional counselling services to UBCO students through the Third Space Student Care Program.
