Big White is bringing you all things Huckleberry! Join us on Saturday August 10th for your slice of B.C’s largest huckleberry pie, served up in the Village from 12noon.
Stroll through the village for family fun activities and live entertainment on the Big White Village Stage from 12pm, including Pappa Dawg and Under the Rocks. Craft and farmer vendors will be in attendance from 11am - 4pm on the day, last years vendors included Henna Hut, Mister Tea, Whirling Rainbow, Gro Organics and more.
The Kids Fun Zone will be in full swing with the bouncy castle, ring toss and giant checkers. Be sure to visit our Blind Berry Taste stand with different berries on display and see if you can guess which is which - guess correctly and win a prize!
Once again, Big White will be hosting the Huckleberry Hunt. Grab the first clue from one of our team members at the Huckleberry Hunt tent in the Village and hunt down all the letters to reveal the secret message! There's some great Big White summer swag up for grabs for those who complete the challenge.
This year we are also bringing back our Berry Bake-Off. Kicking off from 1pm, we are again looking for three of Big White's best berry bakers to compete in this Masterchef-style competition. The theme for this year will be released closer to the time.
Don’t forget to explore the alpine and enjoy the beautiful 360° views as you take the Bullet Chair up to the top of the mountain. Whether you choose to bike or hike back to the village, explore and check out what’s under the snow. Tickets can be purchased in the Village Centre Mall.
Please note that in the event of wet weather, all Huckleberry festivities will be moved into the Village Centre Mall.
