VIBRATIONS OF HOPE A fundraiser for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter hosted by Kristal Jem
Join us on May 18th for an evening celebrating women in the arts from our community and surrounding areas at the unique Habitat located at 248 Leon Ave. Admission includes wine vouchers sponsored by The View Winery plus music, dance, art, poetry and scene acting performances while all funds go towards supporting the Kelowna Women's Shelter. Partake in our outstanding silent auction that will also be held to raise funds for the foundation while featuring local artisans and retailers.
Enjoy the soothing soul music by Dani Lion, a silky jazz medley by Anna Jacyszyn and an acoustic set by Kathleen Munn. End off the evening with DJs Alex Mei, Carissa Gem and Alice Dee
Scene performances from academy student and past actresses from Kelowna Actors Studio; Sidney Cummings, Madeleine Molgat, Cassidy Hergott Emily Dehod and Andrea Sorestad who will be performing a piece from Spring Awakening. Also, Fred Skeleton Theatre Company will be featuring scenes from their newest production The Drowning Girls staring Andrea Sorestad, Michelle Hussey and Allyce Kranabetter. Lastly we will have Ruby Bullock-Spitz and Natasha Daly performing their own unique scene.
Dance performances by Kinshira Performance Troupe , belly dancing from the enchanting ladies; Catherine Blake, Denise Dercksen - Wolfe and Glenda Schwandt from Mystic Dance, the graceful Mikayla Miyashita of The Canadian School of Ballet and hoop performances by the talented Lish
