Inspired Word Cafe (IWC), in conjunction with the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (FCCS), presents the chapbook launch of Erin Hiebert's "Save Our Crowns"!


About the book: Save Our Crowns is a collection of poetry that wondered what it was like to come of age in Saskatchewan. It explores how we are shaped by place, politics, and family. Save Our Crowns was published by Anstruther Press in 2018.

Featuring a reading from the new book by poet Erin Hiebert, a reading by visiting author Clifton Joseph, and Rikki Bassett, Okuku Patience Spinooza, and Peter Navratil from the IWC community.

Join the celebration and closing night of FCCS Reading Series 2018 with the launch of new poems, into space!

Erin Hiebert's work has appeared or is forthcoming in Forget Magazine and The Maynard. Her first chapbook, Women at Work On Women, was published in 2016. Originally from Saskatoon, she is a recent graduate of UBC Okanagan's creative writing BA program.
