The UBC art project, Border Free Bees, is inviting people who live in the lower Mission neighbour of Kelowna to join The Kelowna Nectar Trail Project. Everyone in the community are invited to attend the following free workshops as part of The Kelowna Nectar Trail Sessions.
Gabe Cipes (Summerhill Winery) will give us a hands on introduction to growing without pesticides in the Okanagan using a Biodynamic approach. We will be meeting outside come rain or shine, so dress for the weather!\r\n\r\nGabe Cipes is a Permaculture designer, viticulturist, biodyamicist and beekeeper based out of Summerhill Pyramid Winery (the largest certified organic and biodynamic winery in Canada). He is V.P. of Demeter Canada, V.P. of Biodynamic Associations of BC (BDASBC) and a Director for the Certified Organic Associations of BC (COABC).
