Gagan Ahuja, Okanagan TD Mortgage Specialist, is proud to present Comedy for a Cause benifitting LIB International! Five of Kelowna's top local comedians will be performing on this unique night, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit LIB International.
L.I.B international works to proactively break the extreme cycle of global poverty through environmental and sustainable community development, fair trade and human empowerment. Their learning center in a slum community in Delhi India was co-created with the community to provide supplemental education to children with a variety of needs. Some are enrolled in the government school but lack the focused learning and others are girls who are forbidden from attending school or have to drop-out of other programs due to social, environmental and/or religious family beliefs. We provide a safe, inspiring and engaging place for the children to learn the necessary requirements to advance through school and life as well as providing a unique learning opportunity through creativity!
