Discovery Agents has gamified Kelowna in honour of our Royal visitors. Discover hidden challenges & play augmented reality games that are fun for the whole family with this free to download mobile game! The games begin at the Sails on the corner of Abbott & Bernard. Are you ready for your Mission?
Discovery Agents is a unique mobile game that requires kids to get off the couch and get moving to discover the world around them! The game is downloaded for free on the AppStore or Google Play and then played at participating locations or "Mission Sites." Discovery Agents is available across North America at locations like the National Mall in Washington D.C., throughout the City of L.A., Mt. St Helens and many more. The local tech start-up that has developed this innovative technology has partnered with the U.S. Forest Service, the City of L.A., the Coca-Cola Foundation, and Texas State parks! As proud members of Kelowna's community, the Agency, which is headquartered in the Okanagan, has decided to create a special "Pop-Up" Mission Site to honour Kelowna's Royal visitors! The Mission Site will gamify the downtown core, providing players with a fun and educational experience that includes augmented reality, geo-triggered technology, and skill testing challenges that highlight the Royals and some interesting facts about Kelowna! To celebrate this exciting visit, Discovery Agents is excited to engage its local community and provide them with a fun, free activity!
