Francine's works can be likened to colorful poems that create a mystical bridge between dreams and reality. Music and dance are often present, providing the viewer with a feeling of movement and contentment.

Francine Gravel is a highly acclaimed Canadian artist whose works present a treasure trove of visual memoir that reflect the spirit, imagination and passion that she holds for the arts. Francine has participated in more than 80 one-woman shows since 1967, including one in New York in 2014, and has received numerous accolades and awards in recognition of her works as a painter, a printmaker, and a published poet. Francine Gravel has also contributed to several group shows and competitions, including one in Italy where, in the spring of 2015, she was awarded both the Sandro Botticelli Prize for original stylistic search, as well as the Roma Imperiale International Prize for stylistic value.
