School of Blues with Kenny Wayne & Sherman Doucette

Kenny Wayne is a throwback to the golden age of classic rhythm and blues. Born in Spokane and raised in New Orleans, his powerful music recalls the era when piano players like Fats Domino and Amos Milburn and Bill Doggett worked the chitlin’ circuit on the “strolls” in dozens of American cities. As a one-man cheering section for the days when blues and small jazz bands met the roots of rock and roll, Wayne is unapologetic about the music he plays. Read more

Provinces: Southern BC Tour 2019

The music of Provinces can be described as “Vancouver Island roots rock meets Nova Scotia hip hop.” The band is comprised of Nova Scotia hip hop vocalist Coop Deviants and British Columbia-born & raised Chris “Magic” Meglic (drums), Nico Carboni (guitar), and B.C. Ladd (vocals, guitar, harmonica). The band formed in early 2019, and they will embark on their first Western Canada tour in September 2019. This new band’s first two singles “Alchemy” and “Revolution in Every Room” are already receiving airplay at radio stations across Canada. A Provinces live show is a fun, energetic, and memorable experience! Read more

Poppa Dawg & Friends

Hailing from the 'Left Coast' of Canada, Poppa Dawg has toured extensively throughout Western and Northern Canada with stints in La Paz, Mexico at The City of Peace Blues Festival and most recently, in 2013 as a participant at the 29th International Blues Challenge in Memphis. They made it to the semi-finals there and along the way forged some very strong friendships with friends around the world. Read more
